DR. ELIZABETH OLIVET Olivet worked for the district attorney's office as an expert witness; she also was seen counselling police officers after times of trauma. She did have a few private patients, which led to a sad business... one of her patients needed a gynecologist, and, Olivet's gynecologist not being willing to take on more patients, Olivet recommended a well-known, prominent gynecologist. Her patient returned claiming the gynecologist had raped her. Her mental state was such that Olivet knew she wouldn't make a good witness, or even have a prosecutable case. Feeling responsible, she went to investigate herself, and was also sexually assaulted. Despite passionate prosecution of the case by Ben Stone, her case was lost. However, the publicity of the case prompted many of the doctor's other victims to come forward. Last we saw him, he was facing a pile of about a hundred complaints of sexual assault or professional misconduct. Olivet was not married, and had no children.
